Upcycling scraps to make...Saquitos!

My latest fun thing is Saquitos. I use remnants of denim and upholstery fabric (I loooove that apple green velvet) and whatever else I have lying around -- buttons, ribbon, appliques -- to make unique crossbody bags. A whole family of superhero jaquitos!

Superman has sold and Wonder Woman has gone to do fundraising for the school where I work, but I have added child-size Supergirl, and I have a Captain America t-shirt to make a custom jacket!

Capt. America = extra-small adult size for a big kid or small teen. I also have another Captain America t-shirt design (darker colors, no bling) that I could attach to a jacket of your choosing!

Parent/Child Jaquitos!

Designs from an Ed Hardy t-shirt. Adult jacket is an Eddie Bauer woman's large. Child's is a Gap Kids Large (13 inches across shoulders, 15 inches from neck to hem). Would be great for Halloween!
